There are many reports that you can access throughout the application. The reports typically provide information relative to the context of the page you are on. This page is called the report request page. For example, the report request page lets you create a report for a specific customer, a certain date range, or sort the order of information in the report. Here is an example of a report request page:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traducci\u00f3n\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-17147 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/triangle.desarrollobirdcom.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Reports-Business-Central.png\" alt=\"Reports Business Central\" width=\"595\" height=\"591\" srcset=\"https:\/\/triangle.desarrollobirdcom.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Reports-Business-Central.png 595w, https:\/\/triangle.desarrollobirdcom.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Reports-Business-Central-300x298.png 300w, https:\/\/triangle.desarrollobirdcom.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Reports-Business-Central-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/triangle.desarrollobirdcom.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Reports-Business-Central-200x200.png 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 595px) 100vw, 595px\" \/><\/p>\n<div id=\"tw-target-text-container\" class=\"gsrt tw-ta-container tw-nfl\">\n<h3 id=\"SavedSettings\" class=\"heading-with-anchor\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Using_Saved_Settings\"><\/span>Using Saved Settings<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"\">With some reports, depending on how they are designed, the report page might include the\u00a0<strong>Saved Settings<\/strong>\u00a0section that contains one or more entries in the\u00a0<strong>Use default value from<\/strong>\u00a0box. The entries in this box are called\u00a0<em>saved settings<\/em>. A saved setting is basically a predefined group of options and filters that you can apply to the report before previewing or sending the report to a file. The saved settings entry called\u00a0<strong>Last used options and filters<\/strong>\u00a0is always available. This entry sets the report to use options and filters that were used the last time you looked at the report.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Using saved settings is a fast and reliable way to consistently generate reports that contain the correct data. After you set the\u00a0<strong>Use default value from<\/strong>\u00a0box to a saved settings entry, you can change any of the options and filters before previewing or saving the report. The changes that you make will not be saved to the saved settings entry you selected, but they will be saved to the\u00a0<strong>Last used options and filters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"tw-target-text-container\" class=\"gsrt tw-ta-container tw-nfl\">\n<h3 id=\"setting-options-and-filters\" class=\"heading-with-anchor\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Setting_Options_and_Filters\"><\/span>Setting Options and Filters<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"\">If you want to further limit or pin-point the data that is included in a report, you can set additional options and filters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Filters enable you display data based on a specific criteria. Filters are grouped by the entity to which they belong, such as\u00a0<strong>Customer<\/strong>in the illustration above. You define a filter by setting the\u00a0<strong>Where<\/strong>\u00a0box to the field that you want to filter on, and then adding the criteria in the\u00a0<strong>is:<\/strong>\u00a0box. For example, in the illustration above, there is a single filter that will create report for the customer whose\u00a0<strong>No.<\/strong>\u00a0is equal to\u00a0<strong>01121212<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You can add more filters by setting the\u00a0<strong>Add<\/strong>\u00a0boxes. When you have more than one filter, only results that meet the criteria for all filters will be included in the report.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Depending on what type field you are filtering, you can specify the filter criteria to look for an exact match, partial match, range of values, and more.<\/p>\n<div id=\"tw-target-text-container\" class=\"gsrt tw-ta-container tw-nfl\">\n<h2 id=\"previewing-a-report\" class=\"heading-with-anchor\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Previewing_a_report\"><\/span>Previewing a report<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<div id=\"tw-target-text-container\" class=\"gsrt tw-ta-container tw-nfl\">\n<p class=\"\">Choose\u00a0<strong>Preview<\/strong>\u00a0to see the report in the Internet browser. Point to an area of the report to show the menu bar.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traducci\u00f3n\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-17149 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/triangle.desarrollobirdcom.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Reports-Business-Central-2.png\" alt=\"Reports Business Central 2\" width=\"463\" height=\"99\" srcset=\"https:\/\/triangle.desarrollobirdcom.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Reports-Business-Central-2.png 463w, https:\/\/triangle.desarrollobirdcom.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Reports-Business-Central-2-300x64.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 463px) 100vw, 463px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Use the menu bar to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Move through pages<\/li>\n<li>Zoom in and out<\/li>\n<li>Resize to fit the window<\/li>\n<li>Select text: You can copy text from a report, and then paste it somewhere else, like a page in Business Central or Microsoft Word. Using a mouse, for example, you press and hold where you want to start, and then move the mouse to select one or more words, sentences, or paragraphs. You can then press the right mouse button, and select\u00a0<strong>Copy<\/strong>. You can the paste the selected text where ever you want it.<\/li>\n<li>Pan the document:\u00a0You can move the visible area of the report in any direction so you can view other areas or the report. This is helpful when you have zoomed in to see details. Using your mouse, for example, press and hold the mouse button anywhere in the report preview, and then move your mouse.<\/li>\n<li>Download to a PDF file on your computer or network.<\/li>\n<li>Print<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"tw-target-text-container\" class=\"gsrt tw-ta-container tw-nfl\">\n<h2 id=\"saving-a-report\" class=\"heading-with-anchor\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Saving_a_Report\"><\/span>Saving a Report<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"\">You can save a report to a PDF document, Microsoft Word document, or Microsoft Excel document by choosing\u00a0<strong>Send to<\/strong>, and then making your selection.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"ScheduleReport\" class=\"heading-with-anchor\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Scheduling_a_Report_to_Run\"><\/span>Scheduling a Report to Run<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"\">You can schedule a report to run at a specific date and time. Scheduled reports are entered in the job queue and processed at the scheduled time, similar to other jobs. You can choose to save the processed report to a file, such as an Excel, Word, or PDF, print it to a selected printer, or process the report only. If you choose to save the report to a file, then the processed report is sent to the\u00a0<strong>Report Inbox<\/strong>\u00a0area on your Role Center, where you can view it.<\/p>\n<p>You can schedule a report when you open a report. You choose the\u00a0<strong>Schedule<\/strong>\u00a0action and then you enter information such as printer, and time and date. The report is then added to the job queue and will be run at the specified time. When the report is processed, the item will be removed from the job queue.
